This is our digipak cover and it does work with the dark colours and theme of our music video of urban hip hop/rap. The photo of the person with the cigaeratte and as it looks as if there is two people sitting there just like the feet in our magazine advert.

Filters and special effects
Filters and special effects are used to change the footage for example taking footage and making it black and white by adding a filter. Filters are used to change footage to make it more exciting and make it appeal to the target audience. Filters are used to make the image brigther or darker. Special effects are added to footage so that it appears on the footage however but which is not on the real footage for example making a mirror effect so that there is a mirror effect in ur rough cut we used special effects to show that there is a mirror to one of the main characters. It is putting the same footage on top of each other and making some of the footage transparaent to create the mirror effect. Special effects makes the music video a lot dyamic and exciting ehich would appeal to the target audience so that they would buy the song.
Plan of what remains to be done
The tasks that we still need to is the filming and editing of our music video so that we can meet the deadline. Also we need to co,plete the digipak and magazine ad research and design. We also need to complete the rest of the blog posts. such as analysis old digipaks and magazine adverts. to give feedback to another groups rough cut of their music video. We also need to research filters and transitions for our music video.
Magazine Ad Research
A magazine advert of a music video usually has a picture relating to the music video and sometimes a image of the singer. Also the advert has the name of the song and album in big letters to make it stand out. It also has ratings from mainly newspapers the ratings are usually from one to five stars and underneath the stars the newspapers always has a caption like "The best song of the month" for example. The magazine adverts has make sure that te song and album stands out the target audinece so that we album and music video would sell. The adverts words have to eye catching colourful and the picture has to show the grooup and what the music video is about.
